I've put up a very bare-bones Girls section for Rune Factory that contains the basic information about each bachelorette. Soon to come I'll be updating that section to contain more in-depth information, and also adding sections for recipes, a bestiary, accessories, and spells.

According to the shipping date listed on EBGames and Gamestop, it seems as though Harvest Moon: Tree of Peace for the Nintendo Wii has been pushed back, yet again, until July 14th, 2008. Sad, yet not unexpected, news.

An adorable Harvest Moon themed travel kit for the DS Lite is going to be released on April 1st for $19.99. This is the perfect collectable for any HM fan. The travel kit includes a game case, strap, skins and a cow-themed stylist for your DS.

Harvest Moon DS Cute is shipping on March 25th, and if you preorder with EBGames or with Gamestop and you'll receive this adorable plush cat as a bonus gift!

The Rune Factory section has been updated again with a Shopping guide which lists all of the different shops and the items sold within them. Enjoy, and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

A quick update, I've updated the release date for Tree of Peace, which is now slated for May 12th, 2008 in the US. I'm not quite sure what the UK release date is, but I'll put that up whenever I find it! Also for all of you UK fans, Magical Melody is coming in only 6 days! Get excited!

I also have a ton of Rune Factory information that I'm going to be adding, and all of it should be up within the next two weeks!

After long last, the Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon section of HMFarm has opened! While there is only one section of content at the moment, many more are in the works and should be available for your viewing pleasure within the next week or two! Special thanks to ƒlisiane for all of the Rune Factory information she has sent in to help the website out!

I also hope to continue updating the Kiranaka section with new information as it comes out, now that the game has been released in Japan. If anyone out there has purchased this game and would be willing to help out it would be greatly appreciated, just shoot me an e-mail!

Kiranaka has been released in Japan as of yesterday! For those fans who can't wait for this to come to the US, you can import it from Japan through Play-Asia.com

The official Kiranaka website has placed two new gameplay video clips on their website. Although in Japanese, it's still interesting to watch to get a feel for what the game will be like. The first is a conversation with sprites, while the second features some classic farming techniques.

A quick update, for all you Harvest Moon fans with a Wii who are dying to play the original game for the SNES, Nintendo released HM on its SNES virtual console yesterday for North American gamers! The game costs 800 Wii points (Which is about $8.00) and can be purchaed in the Wii Shop Channel.

Thanks to many visitors from HMFarm, I've had a huge turnout of people sending in game information for the site! I am currently working on taking that information and converting it to pages, so they should be up within this week!

We have a new affiliate, although it's not exactly Harvest Moon related! FF-XIII.net is a great website about the upcoming Final Fantasy game and has a lot of great content and media.

Though not exactly the update that many of you have been waiting for, I've revamped part of the GBC3 section to have better grammar and better, more accurate information. I've begun working on the Rune Factory section as well and hope to open that within the next week or so, but I will be revamping older sections of the site while I do so.

When I announced I was looking for staff, I was very selective with who I chose to write for the site. Unfortunately many of these people have since become busy and were unable to complete sections. Rather than ask for applications for staff members, I would like to put out a call for content writers. All you need to do is write up game content and send it to me, it really is that easy. You will be credited for your work and together we can all bring HMFarm up to speed. Game sections that are in particular need of updating are Rune Factory, Innocent Life, (More) Friends of Minteral Town, Harvest Moon DS, and Harvest Moon: Boy & Girl. For anyone interested, simply write up your information (HTML not required) and send it over to me at webmaster@hmfarm.com. Please use explicit subject titles for your e-mails so I know what I'm receiving.

While looking through files, I found a bunch of content pages for A Wonderful Life that were never announced! These included pages about aging, character events, gifts, hybrid crops and trees, and recipes. They have been posted in the AWL section.

HMFarm has a new affiliate, Harvest Moon Bauer. HM Bauer is a German fansite for the Harvest Moon series and is full of great content (although you may have difficulty actually reading it)!

I've also been changing things up a bit on the site, mainly cleaning things up, changing some directory names to clean up my URLs and fixing aesthetic errors. I'm currently planning on re-designing the website, although that may take a while as I'd still like to update the actual game content along the way, so look forward to that in the next few months!

Marvelous has released a new character in the Kiranaka (Sparkling Sun & Friends) game on their website. This one is an adorable food critic named Pierre. The Characters section of the Kiranaka game has been updated as well.

Bokumono.com has put up a new commercial for Kiranaka. It's pretty cute, although a little strange. There is also a video that is a "making of" type of deal, they can both be found at the top of this page.

Harvest Moon Paradise is now an affiliate of HMF! They are listed as a normal affiliate and currently cover HM64 and HM:BTN, so check them out.

Nintendo announced today its lineup for the first half of 2008 for the DS and Wii, so I've updated the Release Dates page. Harvest Moon DS Cute is slated for March 8th and Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness for June 8th. What was somewhat disconcerting was that Tree of Peace was missing from the list, so we'll find out soon whether this was intentional or it was just left out.

Rising Star Games, Marvelous Interactive's publisher for the HM series in Europe and Australia, will be releasing Harvest Moon: Magical Melody on the Wii on March 24th, 2008. Sorry for the late news, and I'm sure many of you already know about this. I've updated the Release Dates section to reflect this release date along with Rune Factory for those in Europe/Australia as well.

As I expected, those of us in North America will not be seeing Harvest Moon: Tree of Peace on the Nintendo Wii until the second quarter this year. EBGames.com lists May 12th, but at this point I'm not exactly certain what the date will be.

While digging around on the Internet, I found this Japanese commercial on Youtube for Harvest Moon: Tree of Peace from last summer. It's...well, see for yourself if you haven't already.

Good news for fans of the series in the UK, Nintendo released Harvest Moon on the SNES on January 4th for its Virtual Console. At a cost of only 800 Wii points (about $8.00), fans can download the game that started it all on their Wii! Sadly the game is only available in the UK's Virtual Console at the moment, so we can only hope that they'll release it in North America soon!

Yet another Kiranaka (on the Nintendo DS) commercial has been released from the official site! This one shows a bit more of the gameplay and is much longer than the first commercial, so enjoy.

While poking around on The Sims 2 downloads section, I found some cute cows and sheep for download! For anyone who dreams of having their own Harvest Moon lot in The Sims 2, these downloads are great! You need the Pets expansion pack at least.

After poking around on the Marvelous Entertainment Inc's Bokumono.com, I found a new commercial for the Nintendo DS game Kiranaka (roughly translates to Sunshine and Friends). It's a cute commercial in true Japanese style, so take a look here.

I made a quick update to the Release Dates page, so it should be up to date with the release dates for Harvest Moon DS Cute, Harvest Moon Heroes and Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon -- Special Edition. I also updated the Products section with some of the newer soundtracks and games and links to where you can purchase some of them.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season! I am sure this is fairly old news, however Natsume has announced that it will be releasing Harvest Moon: Innocent Life Pure for the Playstation 2 in February, 2008. Knowing Natsume, I think it's fairly safe to assume that it will be delayed (like Harvest Moon Heroes, which is now slated to be released on February 28th, 2008 rather than its original November date).

I am currently helping some staff get accustomed to the way HMF works and they are being set up to work on Magical Melody, Rune Factory and Friends of Mineral Town, so look for updates soon!

Now as I'm sure most of the avid Harvest Moon fans are aware, there is a new game being developed for the Nintendo DS, and while no English title has been released I'll be tentatively calling it "Sun and Sparkling Story". Look for updates soon with previews, screenshots and what not for that!

Finally, I found the most adorable little game for all of us who just love helping animals get back into their building here on the Bokumono website. Scroll down until you see an image with a chick outside of a building and then click on it and enjoy!

A quick update that I am getting close to welcoming a bunch of new staff, so look for introductions within the next week, then hopefully after they've gotten settled in they can begin updating game content within a few weeks!

I've been contacting several people regarding staffing positions, and they should begin work shortly on renovating the site. I've been busy with things and haven't had the opportunity, but hopefully soon there will be more consistent updates :). I've also fixed the link to the message board, which was moved! Everyone should check it out, the staff there is great.

Unfortunately I am a bit of a liar and did not get a chance to update the site like I had hoped before. However, I am looking to get things going again but I acknowledge the fact that my schedule does not allow for me to continue Harvest Moon Farm on my own. I am quite ashamed that this update comes exactly two months after my previous one, however this is something that just can't be helped. As my semester and finals come to a close, I will once again be updating the site. There will be some changes, I hope to perhaps find some content updaters who will be in charge with keeping the site up to date with information on a regular basis, and I will be doing site upkeep to make sure everything is looking good and reading well!
